Hi,
We just recently migrated to Platform Anlaytics and found few limitations, mostly performance degredation especially for heavily used dashboards:
- The data visualization for the reports are not loading at all, some takes hours before the results appear. This is across multiple types of report (i.e Single score, List, Graphs).
- The right-click menu that we normally have in the classic UI dashboards are no longer appearing in the PA dashboards:
What we are seeing now is the normal browser right-click menu.
Do you have any recommendations to resolve these ones?

report takes hours to appear -> seems data is huge and you should apply proper filter condition
Right click -> I believe it's not available OOTB on platform analytics

Hi Ankur,
That is correct! The data in the reports are huge but the normal user 'arguments' raised to our team after the migration is that, 'Why does it work fine before the migration?'. Once that we can't easily answer at this stage 🙂

Hi @Sherwin G ,
Based on your information, it seems that you need to look into how the reports / dashboards are created, on which table(s) and how the query / filter is done... I would assume from your post, that many of these can be optimized according to best practice.
If my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as the accepted solution and give a thumbs up.
Best regards
