Hello Community,

I am checking Platform Analytics on Utah.

I understand that for Line Data Visualization:

- Multiple Group By is not possible
- it is not possible to set a grouping on the Trend By (previously "Per"), e.g. the trend by Created is only by date (not possible to set it by week, month, year...)

If I am not wrong, to avoid to try with each PDIs of different version, is it possible to know if the above options will be back in some version and which one?

Is multiple Group By possible already in Utah (and how)? If not, in which release is it available?

Doesn't look like you will be able to do this with one data source.

However, you are able to add multiple data sources and then specify the trend for each like this:

If you don't see this after adding two data sources be sure you are on the latest version of Platform Analytics.

Thank you Drew, interesting, I had not tried yet the multiple data sources.

With multiple data sources I couldn't adress the issue of setting up multiple "group by" choices, though.

I investigated more and found that my issue is likely due to a missing latest version of the App Data Visualisation, see https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/utah-now-intelligence/page/use/performance-analytics/concept/sele...

Unfortunately the latest versions for Utah of this App are not available anymore (!).
Luckily we are moving to Vancouver in a couple of weeks. I hope the feature will be there.

I checked in a Washington PDI and indeed the Alternative Groups by is available. Not sure if it is by default or one has to esplicitly install the Data Visualisation app.
Hope it is by default, I do not see the reason of the complexity to manually add the Data Visualisation app, should be automatic if one has Platform Analytics.
