User seeing placeholder widgets on dashboard which others see as configured normally

Hello all,

We have a dashboard with widgets which are normally visible to most users with whom the dashboard is shared.

However one user sees placeholder widgets as if they have not been configured somehow in this dashboard.

I could understand if a user got permissions errors on widgets... that sort of thing is common.

But I don't understand what kind of problem would manifest itself as placeholder widgets for a particular user.

Any ideas?

Very odd. Can you impersonate the user and make sure they are actually viewing the correct dashboard?

Yes, we have verified that the dashboard is the same, same sys_id etc.

Is this a new dashboard? Was is ever working for this user?

Anything usual about this user's account (did you test with another user that has the same exact roles)?

Also, if it's a new dashboard and it was recently migrated from another instance, make sure the user logs out/logs in and then try again.
