Hi All,
Something I'm trying to figure out is if the information available in the record history can be reported on? Not the activity history in a record, but the detail in the History->List right click action.
Here is a real use case I have:
We have a peer review process baked into change management, which requires a peer to review the change request record before you can submit to CAB. A manager wants to be able to easily able to know which of his staff are reviewing the good changes and which are reviewing the ones that had issues, ideally without manually reviewing every change they do.
So, in change requests, we have a custom field which is checkbox called 'peer review'. It has to be checked (true) before the change can be submitted for review.
The activity history shows who made the change and the field itself can be reported on (is true/is false) but not who set it to true or false. In addition, in the full record history, it is capturing who made the change but I cannot figure out how (if?) we can report on that.
Appreciate any insights anyone has.

Yes, Reports can be made on History table but that is NOT recommended due to certain reasons.
Below KB article worth reading to know, why not to report on Audit(History) tables.

But I think you can use Metrics for your requriements.
