Hello Reporting Experts,
I wanted to ask this question as sort of a knowledge check. I was recently requested to capture template usage (for incident/request templates specifically). Although I am easily able to find the list of template (sys_template) I am unable to see if there is a way to see where/when a template was used.
- There does seem to be a "descendants" related list, but it's empty on all the templates I check.
Is there a way to report on template usage? or would I need to build this reporting mechanism myself?
As always, thank you for your time and expertise.

Out of box, you dont have an option to track it.
You may need to build something custom, for ex in below link a field on task field needs to be created, which can store the template id.
