Hi!
I've created numerous indicators and none of them seem to show any results on the scorecard. I've created autometed and formulated indicators and none of them show data. Can somebody help me understand why? I' have indicator sources and a job collection which I though was enough.
Thanks!!

Hi Samuel,
The easiest way to trouble shoot this is to run a report that has the same conditions as your indicator source, this will tell you if there is any data that meets your criteria. Chances are your indicator source needs to be tweaked to make sure that there is data that meets that condition. I would do that first. Also, once you have validated that your source will pull a valid data set, try applying some of the additional filters that match some of the indicators that you have created - you need to make sure that there is data that meets all these conditions. If there is no data that comes back in your reports, then you will need to adjust your sources/indicators.
Thanks

Hi Tara,
Thank you for your response. The data source does have data and I've done what you've suggested and the report does show data therefore the problem must exist due to another reason. I'll attach images below of the material involved in my performance analytics report.

In your indicator source, you have "Valid for frequency" set to monthly. Are you sure you want that? That means that your collector can only be run once per month. Normally you'll always leave that to daily so that your collector will run every day (or more likely, night).
You might want to look at your indicator in the list view and check the Frequency field. If you have the indicator source set to Monthly and the indicator set to Daily, I think (emphasis on think) that the conflict will prevent the indicator from being collected.
(POST EDIT: Looking at the documentation, I think Frequency is ignored when an indicator source is specified. It still might be causing your issue, though. It might be something as simple as the collector will only collect data on the first day of the month, so you're not seeing any data being collected because it's not running. You can find this out by looking at the scoresheet instead of the scorecard and seeing if there are any numbers populating the table. You might also want to check your job log and system log to see if any errors are being logged by the collection script.)
If you want your data rolled up into monthly totals, you can change your time period on your scorecard or report to be something like By Month SUM or By Month AVG. That way, you can see your monthly data even though it's collected daily.
As a side note, because this is insanely hard to find in the documentation, the difference between By month SUM and By month SUM + (with a plus) is that the one with the plus will show partial collections in your scorecards and on widgets. For example, if you've collected data from January 8, 2017 through July 16, 2017, the By month SUM time period will show you February through June, since January and July don't have complete datasets. The By month SUM + time period, however, will show you January through July, with whatever numbers were collected displayed on the charts as well.
Hope this helps,

What time zone are you in? Would you be up for a webex? I definitely see an issue with your source.
Thanks
