User Analytics Experience - User Count Query

Hi,

I am fairly new to the User Experience Analytics and having looked through the forum I haven't found specific answer to the following query. I would like to understand how the total number of active users on the overview dashboard for HR Agent Workspace application is counted, when changing the data range.

For example, for the following data ranges:

1-31 January: 75 new users, 75 total users

1-29 February: 130 new users, 183 total users

But when setting the range:

1 Jan - 29 February: 205 new users, 205 total users.

Is this correct? Why separate data range in February shows total of 183 active users, but together for two months data we get 205 only in the Overview Dashboard?

To add on the Users graph when selecting Active option it will show correctly Jan 75 active users, Feb 183 users, so only on the first card for total active users the number seems incorrect and I would like to understand how so?
