Override display value IS NOT WORKING

Hello all

We've Epic field on story table, and also there is a sys_dictionary_override for Short Description field on rm_epic table to Override display value, but still it's displaying a epic number on story table. 

Any assistance in resolving the issue would be greatly appreciated.

you want to see epic number and not epic short description in the Epic reference field on rm_story?

if yes then remove the dictionary override which is present on rm_epic for short_description field

Earlier:

Earlier dictionary override on rm_epic

Now uncheck the override display for the above record so that Number field is shown as display instead of short description

Afterwards -> unchecked the checkbox

Output: It stared showing the epic number instead of short description in Epic field on rm_story

change the table in your screenshot of dictionary override from rm_story to rm_epic
