Configure List Layout Columns display not working for alm_asset table

I am trying to modify list layout on alm_asset table form configure > List Layout but the changes are not getting reflected in the list view. I edited and saved by clicking 'Edit this view'  but its not working, any help is highly appreciated.

have you tried with the admin role?

Go to "sys_ui_view" table.

select the title -"Default view" record.

In that record Go to the Lists section. Select the table name which you are referring. Go to that record - overthere inthe List Elements change the position of the field visibilty.
