Creating Parent and Child Contracts for Software Entitlements

Is it possible, or what is the best route to go to create a contract that has multiple line items, and how to add software entitlements to said contract. Parent/Child contracts, Contract with asset items, etc?

For example: Contract A total $200,000.

Line item 1 - Software ABCD - 15 licenses 

Line item 2 - Software BCD - 30 licenses

Line item 3 - Software DEF - 40 licenses

you could use the the following Contract related list - "Assets Covered" -  to link multiple entitlements with your contract.
