Device Allocation in SAM

Hello Guru,

Getting error when we try to create Device Allocation record in SAM/Software Asset Management.

Error - Selected entitlement does not match your entitlement condition

*Allocated to - Name of host/server/computer where, trying to allocate software. (where software is installed)

*Entitlement - Pick from reference of Software Entitlement created.

More often record doesn't get created because of the above error. and 

when it does Software model selected differ from the Software Entitlement. screenshot for ref.

Hi Cody,

i have manually created SW Model & Entitlement.

sorry, i couldn't get you. what do you mean by PPN. 

and if i see plug in, i cant see SAM PRO here. or something else also missing here.

Cody is asking if you entered the PPN (Publisher Part Number) into the like-named attribute on the software entitlement record.  When you do this, automation will automatically create the SW Model for you and link the two records together.
