Hello !
We currently have SCCM and SG-Intune as discovery sources for SAM which picks up software installs on mobile devices. This causing our workbench to be inundated with software that we do not need to manage, it is also impacting our compliance .
Is there a way to exclude certain software from the workbench / compliance by device type or OS type ? Do we need to create a software model for it and then
For example : Minecraft is being picked up through our Intune discovery source and appears as a unlicensed install under our Microsoft publisher.
Currently the only way I'm aware of removing this is to create a new software model for that product and then unflag the license under management option. This will remove it from the workbench after reconciliation
Is this the correct method ? Would this need to be done manually for each mobile install we do not want to manage ?

On the SW Model there is an "Install Condition" field. You could set this to apply to InTune as discovery / updated by source, or you could it to the OS on the device itself.
