Hi,
My company is now using Intune as a discovery source, which means that the software installations table now includes many handheld devices.
We do not want to manage the software on these devices, so can anyone advise how we would prevent the software from the handheld devices from entering the software install table?
Regards,
Gavin

Hi @Gavin Hughes,
please try the following approach by SN to exclude software installation records from being processed.
The solution by ServiceNow will remove the link between software installation and discovery model for each flagged CI, and this excludes the device. The software installation records is still available in the cmdb_sam_sw_install table, but excluded.
Best, Dennis

Hi Dennis,
Thank you very much for this information. I have not used this before, so I will give it a go in our dev instance and see how I get on.
Regards,
Gavin

You can use SW Install Conditions on the SW Model to exclude devices that were brought in by that source, or you could use it to exclude SW that is installed on a Mobile Device OS
