How to associate multiple software catalog items to a single software model?

We have the situation that multiple versions of a single software should be orderable via the software catalog. So the assumption is that multiple catalog items (one for each version which can be ordered) have to be created for that. For all versions the same license entitlement(s) should be used. So I need to link those multiple catalog items to the same software model. Is that possible or how can the use case be solved otherwise? Any hint is appreciated...

Yeah, I understand this part, but how this is will be related to the Sourcing Request step, where the agent should select specific entitlement record for the allocation

@Thomas E_  Same with what @Robbie suggested, I would create a generic software catalog item and add the option to select the version required. As you've mentioned, regardless of what version is selected, it will still use the same license entitlement(s). Note that you can only link one software model to a catalog item. If you choose to have multiple catalog items for different versions, you will have to create the associated software model (with entitlements) specific to that version. Hope this helps!

Hi, actually all these different versions of software entries are being fed into ServiceNow as software models from an external database (which is the leading system) so from these models individual catalog items can easily be created. The problem is rather that different versions of the same software can use the same license entitlements so the request is actually to link multiple software models to a single entitlements record which does not seem to be possible, or am I missing something?
