SAM Content update requests

Hi all this is a bit of a vent.  I raised my first one last week and attached a spreadsheet of the non normalized software I wanted adding to the content service.  SN replied asking for the detail in the form of an XML file. 

 

This functionality is out of scope for the SAM_Admin role and requires a system Admin role, so I need to request a task from the Dev Team to supply the required data.  To me, raising these requests are part of the Sam Admin BAU tasks and should not rely on another team that has the full Admin role.

 

It just feels that this is an example SN internal process being disjointed with process and requirement not being aligned.

 

How do other organisations cope with this requirement?

Hi @andynewey,

 

to keep it short, we ask platform admins to provide the XML (including all the mentioned dependencies and delays).
