I have Many Laptops and desktops. We are implementing ServiceNow in our company. My question is for Laptop what would be CI and for Desktop what would be CI? Does ServiceNow will automatically define the CI's to Laptops and Desktops or do we need to define what should be the CI for those. Same in the case of Server please.

Hi! I want to address Anirudh Kumar. I agree that For computers and Laptops, the CI will be cmdb_ci_computer. But you are sure the correct command is: For Server, the CI class will be cmdb_ci_server. It looks strange. It seems to me that you need to find more information about this. When I purchased a new laptop using https://productz.com/en/dell-xps-15-9570/p/5LeRl. So, a completely different command was used when I connected it to our server.
