Hi @geetha Breeze ,
Thanks for sharing the screenshot. Based on what I see, you’ve created an entitlement for Windows Server 2022 Standard.
To help resolve this, please check the following:
- Verify Installations:
Navigate to the Software Installation table (cmdb_sam_sw_install.LIST) and check if there are any installations for Microsoft Windows Server 2022 Standard.
From your screenshot, it looks like there aren’t any, but it’s good to confirm.
However, I can see there are installations for Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard.
- Configure Downgrade Rights:
- Assign downgrade rights from Windows Server 2022 Standard to 2008 R2 Standard and 2012 R2. This will allow the 2008 R2 Standard installations to be covered under the 2022 Standard entitlement.
- Similarly, for Windows Server 2022 Datacenter, set the downgrade rights to 2019 Datacenter.
Once you configure these downgrade rights, you should start seeing license requirements reflected under 2022 Standard and 2022 Datacenter.
If you’re unsure how to configure the downgrade rights:
- Open the relevant software model (for 2022 Standard or Datacenter),
- Scroll down to the Downgrade Rights section,
- Add the appropriate versions.
That said, as of now, there are no direct installations of 2022 Standard or Datacenter, so without downgrade rights in place, the entitlements won’t map to existing installations.

Thank you so much for the reply.
I have attached the screenshot of windows server 2022 standard and datacenter 2022 tab in where you can see downgrade rights. it has been included already. I have seen the existing installations under windows server 2022 standard but it doesn't showcase the value in license required field.
