Migrate from Flexera and Snow Software to SAM Pro

Hello Team!

Are there any guides created already or available related to best practices for migrations from Flexera FlexNet Manager, Flexera One or Snow Software into ServiceNow? Key notes, highlights, lessons learned on things to keep in mind during this process? Any experiences, articles, documents, guidelines are very much appreciated in advance!

this is correct and due to the platform approach and collaboration all over the platform it’s not getting easier to something „fixed“ compared to your own FNMS world. As you said, communication and transparency is the key and most of the adjustments will take a couple of weeks due to the sprints/releases.

I would not recommend to use FNMS as inventory source. Try to establish as much as you can with ServiceGraph connectors and ITOM Discovery.

Please check out the SAM Ranger Youtube Channel and the SAM blog as part of this community, this will reduce the „try and error“ a lot.
