Hello SNOW Family,
I need help on how to optimise over utilisation of Instance. We are working in domain separated services and recently we have moved to dedicated instances for two of our customers. Now, we have noticed we are non-compliant and over utilization. I need help/suggestion/KB reference anything that you can provide as reference on how to optimise and identify where and how we are overusing licenses and how to optimise to be compliant. Attaching screen shots for your reference and for better understanding. I'm looking to optimise SAM.
Thank You,
Bharathi Patthi

Hi @PatthiBharathi,
Per documentation:
For licensing purposes, the Software Asset Management application only considers CIs with software installs discovered within the last 90 days or those where the last discovered as empty
Based on the following description you should identify and cleanup any outdated software install record to reduce your SAMP consumption. Common issues are retired devices from a Lifecycle view, but still active in SCCM and thus leads to active but outdated records.
If possible, please use the build in options to remove software records based on the CI install status „Retired“ - this triggers s Business Rule and will remove the data.
best, Dennis

@dreinhardt Thank you so much for your response. I'm referring to
KB1119981 DEFN1007075 | Software Asset Management (SAM) - Computers. The challenging I'm facing is in identifying assets which are in retired state.
