Hi
I am trying to implement oracle GLAS data collection by following this documentation
https://www.servicenow.com/docs/bundle/yokohama-it-operations-management/page/product/service-mappin...
1) when I try to download Oracle Java, one folder gets downloaded and nothing in it, can anyone know why it is...?
2)We got some data for oracle Middleware when I downloaded by checking above checkbox and download, is this the data came from any Jobs that run during the download process...?

Hi @Vasu2,
for Oracle Database, Packs & Options please check the following SAM blog article and ensure your discovery process is able to collect the data as required by ServiceNow Oracle GLAS app - GLAS data collection & Oracle Options & Management Pack processing, compliance in SAM. As soon the data is available in the shown tables, you'll be able to download the raw data.
For Oracle Java, please check the following docs article - Oracle Global License Advisory Services (GLAS) data collection. It's recommended to use the latest Oracle GLAS app. The mentioned pattern should be active and execution can be checked as part of the discovery logs (see screenshot) and after this in the mentioned ora_java_audit table.
Best, Dennis

Hi Dennis,
Thanks for your response,
when the GLAS app is installed there is no Java Installation pattern in the extension section of Linux server pattern. I ran a quick discovery on the linux server IP which has the Java Application in it. The discovery ran successfully and updated the CI but when I look into the discovery logs Java Installation pattern is not triggered and Java information is not discovered.
2) when I download the java by checking the Java checkbox and clicked on download button and when I look into the Job log table and click on download, a folder is downloaded and nothing in it.
Can you help to understand that am I missing anything in this process of Java discovery
Thanks,
Vasu
