We have been working on setting up our SmartSheet API connector in the SAMP Module and have been running into issues. I have had to open tickets both with ServiceNow and SmartSheet.
The latest response from SmartSheet "Any API calls that are using the events would fall under Event Reporting which is a feature that needs to be purchased and provisioned on the organization"
According to SAM documentation,
"Important: To enable detailed event tracking, procure an Event Reporting add-on from Smartsheet."
My question is, is it required to have Event Reporting from Smartsheet to enable the connector to work? Is this component required to enable us to pull users? It seems that the Event Reporting would track user activity, but I am not sure exactly.
Anyone else have this issue? Is there a way to configure the API connector without utilizing the Event Reporting aspect.
