Smartsheet Integration Questions

Hi all,

I am in the process of setting up the Smartsheet integration. The application owner for Smartsheet that we are working with has asked a couple of questions which I do not know the answer to. Would anyone here, who may have already set this up, know the answers? See questions below:

 

  1. I am wondering whether we require firewall traffic to be allowed to this product host api.smartsheet.com ?
  2. Do we require firewall traffic to be allowed to webhooks.smartsheet.com ?
  3. Are we required to enable Auto-User Provisioning in order for the API connection to work ?

If anyone is able to help, that would fantastic. Failing that I will open a support ticket with SN themselves. If they are able to answer I will reply to my post with the answers to assist anyone who may have the same questions in the future.

Hi @Cairns 

 

As per Smartsheet community,  you must allow firewall traffic from webhooks.smartsheet.com to your ServiceNow instance if you are using Smartsheet webhooks for real-time data synchronization

But in Servicenow Documentation: Integrating with Smartsheet  - no where it is mentioned. Better you raise a case to Servicenow vendor (Hi Ticket) and take the confirmation.
