Hello dear Community,
Can someone help me with this one?
On the right hand side: what is the difference between the names i marked in the red box and the ones in the green box?
I thought the green ones are the "Installations" and "Discovery Models" Display Names but i could find both as Display names as well. So what is the difference and why are they placed like that in this Flow Map?
Thank you for helping!

Hello @Linh Hoang,
In the software installation table (cmdb_sam_sw_install) the attribute "display name" represents the raw product name gathered from the inventory device (e.g., Registry Keys, Add/Remove). Raw publisher and version is added to the other fields. The discovery model name is calculated by a business rule and consists of "Raw Product Name + Raw Version". Both attributes do not change, even if a normalization is done.
Best, Dennis

Hi @Linh Hoang ,
AdobeAcrobatPro DC is a software which is the subscription taken from Adobe which is the professional version, likewise you have standard Version as well. Acrobat Standard enables you to complete basic PDF tasks like edit, convert, password-protect and request signatures. Acrobat Pro includes everything in Acrobat Standard plus additional PDF features and a wide variety of e-signature tools.
and AdobeAcrobatProDC2015 is the what release you are using on your system.
Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (2015 release) is the full professional version of the Acrobat PDF editor with Document Cloud support that was released by Adobe Systems in April 2015.
includes everything in Acrobat Standard plus additional PDF features and a wide variety of e-signature tools.

Thank you very much. It's more clear to me now.
Still if want to know:
Like you can see in the pictures there is also a Software Installation with Dispplay name "Adobe Systems Acrobat DC Professional" with referenced Discovery Model name "Adobe Systems Acrobat DC Professional". Is this another Installations than "AdobeAcrobatProdc" -> "AdobeAcrobatProdc 2015" ? Because i thought this is the Same product
Thank you, Best regards
Linh

Hello @Linh Hoang,
the descriptions you've mentioned are related to the installation raw data. Please check the discovery model details (Publisher, Product, Version) to get details about the normalized product, which can be used by a software model. The discovery model name != the normalized name. Based on the normalization is can be the same product. But I think, that there is a difference between 2015 and DC Pro - Probably due to the Adobe Cloud
Example:
"AdobeAcrobatSTDdc 2015" is normalized to "Adobe Systems Acrobat DC 2015 Standard". These are the attributes used by the software model to identify linked discovery models.
