Hello dear Community,

Can someone help me with this one?

On the right hand side: what is the difference between the names i marked in the red box and the ones in the green box?

I thought the green ones are the "Installations" and "Discovery Models" Display Names but i could find both as Display names as well. So what is the difference and why are they placed like that in this Flow Map?

Thank you for helping!

Hello @Linh Hoang,

In the software installation table (cmdb_sam_sw_install) the attribute "display name" represents the raw product name gathered from the inventory device (e.g., Registry Keys, Add/Remove). Raw publisher and version is added to the other fields. The discovery model name is calculated by a business rule and consists of "Raw Product Name + Raw Version".  Both attributes do not change, even if a normalization is done.

Hello @Linh Hoang,

After running reconciliation for Microsoft products, software installation records are not showing the correct Software model result in the Software Installations table.

In the Microsoft Windows 10 software model, I entered the "Microsoft 365 Government G5" software model as the Suite Parent to Microsoft Windows 10 since it is the software entitlement for these licenses.  After running reconciliation, the Windows 10 installations are showing as noncompliant.  The Software model result associated to these installations is Microsoft Windows 10.

I verified all Windows 10 discovery models have been normalized.  I'm not certain where to go from here.

What is a potential cause for the
