Software Asset Management, software model field: Include in Software Inventory

Please can anyone help with information about a field in the Software Model [cmdb_software_product_model]. There is a field named "Include In Software Inventory"  which takes the value true or false (check box in the form). Unfortunately the product documentation does not have any information for the field and I can't find anything in the community.

What is the purpose of the field?

What determines the value to true or false?

We are running SAM Pro on Washington.

I'm unable to find any field with this name in my instances (W.DC & Xanadu). Could you please share a screenshot & details from the [sys_dictionary] table. Sounds like a custom field added to your instance.

Thanks for that - I have checked with our system admin and it is a custom field my organisation added for an internal process (It has a u_ prefix).
