Software installation discovery on AWS EC2 instance with SAM Pro and ServiceNow discovery

Would it be possible for SAM Pro + ServiceNow discovery to measure the Cloud usage in terms of,

• Detect, discover, and report on the software installed in AWS EC2 instances
• Accurately count virtual processor cores
• Dedicated host – is it host aware and can count over-subscription accurately

It would be helpful if any documentation/steps can be provided to setup such discovery.
