When duplicate installations comes from different discovery sources , then system marks one as active and keeps other installation records inactive in installation table .

What if from the same source (eg :-sccm )if i get two duplicate records , at two different times

will the last pulled record will update the previous record ?

will it make the old record inactive ?

will both the records will stay in installation table ?

Hi @kiran kumar m1,

if all relevant attributes of a SW install record are the same from the source (primary key, publisher, product, edition, version) the record will be update, as soon one of these attributes is different (e.g, version 14.0.6.1 vs. 14.0.6.11) a new SW install record will be created.

Best, Dennis
