Hi Nancy, to adjust the quantity by -50 in Ft Hood, you would open the consumable record, then click Consume - enter the quantity of 50 and submit. This will change the quantity from 100 to 50.
Then to add the 50 to Ft Jackson, you open the Consumable table, click New and use the same model that is already being used (AP-124) and key in quantity of 50. Since the consumable being added already exists in that location it will merge the two consumable records together to give you a single consumable record of 100.
If your example will always be moving stock from one location to another you can also use the Transfer Order functionality. You specify the From Stockroom, the To Stockroom, the Model and quantity. OOTB there are several steps to complete the transfer, but all can be done easily.
