We have recently updated our Dev environment to Zurich and I've come to change the Description on one of our existing Catalog Items due to the manufacturer rebranding the software and there is no way to change the text in the Description field.
After myself and a few colleagues doing some digging online, it looks like this is possibly because we have no Product Model linked to the Catalog Item. I created a Software Model and then selected it from the Model field on the existing Catalog Item but this didn't push the Descrition through.
I then Published the Software Model and it created a new Catalog Item with the correct Description. Does this mean that we're going to have to recreate every single Catalog Item on all of our portals? I can't see a way of linking an existing Catalog Item to a Product Model. Seems like an awful lot of work just to update some text!
