Visio Online Plan 2 Subscriptions

Hi

I have created a software model using the below details ;

Product Name - Vision Online

Edition - Plan 2

However, all the software discovery model have been normalized to

Product - Visio

Version - 2016

Edition - Professional

Due to which i might have to end up normalizing the discoveries identified with the product 'Visio - 2016 professional' to Vision Online - Plan 2 to create a match between the subscriptions software model to the entitlement software model.

Could you please tell me if there is any work around.

Hi Daniel,

These are the two Publisher part numbers we have used to create the software entitlements :

N9U-00002

WU5-00002

Looks like a "User Subscription"

The compliance position would reconcile <User Subscriptions> ingested from the O365 portal and compare that against "User Subscription" active rights.

Are you using the Click2Run Visio installs?f

Have you pulled in the "User Subscriptions" from the O365 portal?

Screen snips?

Digging into the Publisher Part Number (PPN) would also give us more info.

Hi,

Yes we are using Click2Run Visio installs.

We would be soon integrating O365 and pull the user subscription from the O365 portal which would create the the software model using the publisher part number 'N9U-00002' automatically.

The software model which gets created with the above publisher part number will not identify any discovery models as we do not have any products on SCCM with name 'Visio Online'

However, i can create a software model ' Microsoft Visio 2016 Professional' which will identify the discoveries and link the entitlement for reconciliation. But do i need to amend the software model on subscription table?

Hi

Please see the below snap for the software model which was auto created after integration with O365.

However, I do not see any installs as its looking for the product 'Visio Online'

However, when i change the product to 'Visio' i see the below discovery models

Due to these two different Product Name i cannot report at the same time

1) How many unlicensed installs apart from the subscriptions identified.

I get two lines under license position report one for 'Visio' with total number of unlicensed installs and other for 'Visio Online' with the total number of unlicensed subscriptions.

I know it was an old thread but is there anyone have tried to reconciliate and get the desired results?
