suppose a software is assigned to user , and the user uninstalls it manually
will the software will be still present in his system ?
will the software record will be deleted in installation table ?
or
even we uninstall the software until its reclaimed from sccm/intune it will be tagged under our name ?

Hi @kiran kumar m1,
are you referring to ServiceNow? The only things that you can install there are plugins, but these are impossible to uninstall, or only in some situations but mostly impossible.
Can you please explain in more details what exactly is your requirement?

Hi @GlideFather thanks for your response , I am refering in Servicenow SAM perspective
suppose I have raised a request for a software ( eg:- visual studio) , STG team has installed that software ,
whenever the discovery runs on my device / the server my device is tagged in , my software data will be fetched into installation table ,
suppose I have manually uninstalled that software from my laptop
After that when discovery runs , what will happen to that software installation record which is assigned to me for visual studio software ,
will it be deleted / updated ?
and as I have unistalled the software in my laptop , will it will effect my data in sccm/ intune from where I am pulling my data ?

You can deactivate the artifacts of the SAM module, or restrict the access (nobody will see it), but the complete uninstallation is not possible in my opinion...
