Where does Total Spend calculate its data

Hello,

I am working inside our Software asset analytics workspace. I am trying to understand what drives our software "Total spend" data. For example when I click into the Total Spend module (using Articulate as an example)

From what I have read in SNOW knowledge. It supposedly draws its data from purchased rights multiplied by the value of the license seat. Which in our case should only be around 381k roughly. Additionally, I looked into our contracts module to see if there was some weird number being pulled for the Total spend. That would "maybe" put our total spend at roughly 500k at max, nowhere near the 9.1 million. If anyone has any thoughts or examples for me to look through please let me know.

Thanks!

SAM seems to be a product with very little info from SN.

On your entitlement you need not only look at unit cost/purchased rights, but also license type, dates etc. The calculations seem to happen in some rather mysterious ways. Depending on where you click in your graph the record list will change too.

Also look at Chart options, maybe trend or forecast is active...
