Is it possible to customize the Security Incident New UI? Changing form fields or form layout?

Hey there,

Through configurations, it is possible to make some adjustments to the Security Analyst Workspace.

For example, you can control the default fields a user sees on the form / banner.

You can make adjustments to the SIR form layout, and target the "View name" called `SIR New UI`, so that you can show additional baseline fields or also custom fields you have created.  You will need to make these configurations in the Application Scope called `Security Incident Response UI`.

There are also a series of System Properties that control the behavior of the Security Analyst Workspace, you can check those out here:

I have the same problem.
I developed a permission lock on Playbook Tasks in the old UI, but in the NEW UI nothing that I did works.
 So far I have not been able to get information to remedy this

I am trying to make changes to the form view and list layout but I have not seen this view name on any of the instances I have worked with, has it changed?
I can see New UI - Related List Configurations, New UI - Form Layout Configurations. both don't look like what is being loaded on the UI.


Hey there - this application and experience has been overhauled quite a bit since this post from 2019.

 

Perhaps consider creating a new post here on the SecOps Community, and call out what experience you are working with for SIR, and the issue / config you are working on, with a screenshot.

There is the older SIR UI / Workbench (2018 - 2023) - aka the older "SIR New UI" at that time - which was a one-off experience for SIR that this older post relates to.

Then, there is the new SIR Analyst Workspace, that is using the "Next Experience" Platform Workspace / aka Configurable Workspace (Released Feb 2023)


Suspect that you are trying to make adjustments to the newer SIR Analyst Workspace - which is different.
