Server name flipping by different data source also server getting recognised as computer

We identified that the CI is experiencing Name attribute flapping because SG-SCCM and SG-SolarWinds are reporting different Name values for the same CI. Additionally, SCCM is reporting the CI as cmdb_ci_computer, while SolarWinds reports it as cmdb_ci_win_server

need help how to resolve this issue , also checked resoruce id in sys_object_source table for sccm and solar winds both.

Hi @chintuchairmen ,
For the [Name] attribute flapping issue, you can configure Reconciliation Rules for field [Name] of Window Server CI, set lowest Priority value for trusted discovery source to prevent flapping.

For CI swapping between cmdb_ci_win_server and cmdb_ci_computer, you can create Reclassification Restrictions [cmdb_ire_reclassification_restriction] as bellow

thanks for solution will try and update. also any connection in deleting the resource id from sys_object_source table for solar winds and sccm OR with multiple serial number causing the issue?

It should ideally be not causing Class flapping issue, for this you should check how SolarWind/SCCM is determining CI class. I wont be too concerned if it is impacting only very few CIs
