where to check and how to create new event name for email notification ?

Hi Bala Krishnan,

You would also want to enable send it event creator [check box] on your email notification.

System will ignore sending an email to the event creator unless specified.

Send to event creator

Select this check box to send the notification to the person who performed the action that started the notification process if the person is also specified in the Users/groups in fields, Users, or Groups field. If the event creator is not specified in one of these fields, the event creator does not receive a notification regardless of the setting in this field. For troubleshooting information, see Troubleshooting email notifications - Send to the Event Creator on the ServiceNow Community.

Hi Srinivas

Its enabled both send to event creator and evnt parm 1 contains options but it not triggering the email

The email trigger only if we choose record inserted or updated

Did you given correct email address? or

check the event status as well. If event triggers system policy > event > event log check the status here, also check the values your sending to parm1

did you turn on the notification preferences in profile? or

check your email properties as well?

have you written any business rule to execute your event so that the event you have selected in the notification will execute.

also put some number notification "weight" field.
