Dear Now community,
In the incident form, I need to reveal only the "comments" journal field to end users in the portal and hide the "work_notes" field. Currently, the system shows both of them to end users, please see the below screenshot.
Please assist on how to control that.

Hello,
There should be an OOTB ACL on task table to restrict work notes field read access only to ITIL users as below.
just activate them. if not there then create one.
You will have to elevate security admin role before updating ACL.

But that will not just hide the field for portal correct?
