Manage Catalog Item available to different visible for

Hi team

I have a catalog item that I would like to be visible to only a small number of people, but is available to be ordered for everyone. Essentially, I need to restrict the number of people who are able to order an item, but ensure the item can be ordered for anyone. 

Case: We have an OH&S person who we need to be able to order WFH kits for anyone in the Business, but we don't want anyone apart from that person, or the IT Service Desk staff, to be able to see the catalog item. 

When I restrict the users using 'available for', if we search for someone who isn't included in the criteria, we get a denial message.

This is an expected behavior, if you are using available for and having a Requested for type field on the form, this will not allow you to submit the request.

Change the Requested for type field to Reference.

Hi @JonnyFoster 

As @Community Alums  said, either remove the Requested for but in this case only the user who raising the request has to manage all stuff and the requested for not know any progress about RITM.

But yes , if you put Available for then any one can order.
