UAT test scripts

We are in the very early stages of our ServiceNow deployment.   I was wondering if anyone had a series of user acceptance testing test scripts that they would be willing to share as a starting point?

Thanks for your help.

Hey Jodi:

For each functionality, you define the testing steps, expected result, and either actual result or a column for 1 if passes and 0 if the test fails, and final column as

'Comments' from the tester.   You can prepare these test scripts in Excel spread Sheet format, and import it in ServiceNow.   this has worked pretty good in our environment.   If you are going to include UAT for itil users, you can give the testers itil role.

Hope this is helpful.

P.S. Hit it correct and helpful as you see the impact.

Thanks but I don't think I said it very well.   I understand the concept.   I was just thinking that many ServiceNow customers would end up testing similar things each time and I was hoping someone would share a copy of the scripts they use.   Sound ok?

Hi Jodi:

It depends on what applications are looking UAT for, also, every customer will have different customizations.   UAT for say, Incident, may not be one size fits all.   You have to come up with your own scripts.   Similarly, for service catalog, what catalog items you have, # of variables, UI policies, catalog client scripts, approval workflow, catalog tasks etc.

I hope this helps.

P.S. Please mark it correct and helpful as you see the impact.
