To add file type in attachment component in UI Builder

Hi,

 

Am trying to implement a feature where user should select file type (screen shot, report etc) before attaching any file in workspace, The goal is to tag this file type to the corresponding attachment record, so it can be referenced later. My idea was to add a custom field in sys_attachment table for file type but facing challenge in adding this field in workspace as attachment component is an OOO and is non editable. 

Could you please provide some solution

Hello @Anjan 2025 ,

 

Attachment component in OOO is editable you can provide the record information there.

 

Please make sure your are in the same scope of ui builder configuration.
