Work notes and additional comments translation issues in Activity Stream

In respective of users language the fields "work notes" and "additional comments" are not coming up correctly.
They come up in a different language when user language is set to English or sometimes don't get translated at all.
The user's preference table is getting updated correctly with the language chosen by the user but the text does not get translated.

Did this happen after a language change on the device (like after impersonating, or switching the language)? If so: you could run a 'cache.do' to clear the cache and check if that fixes is.

This happened when I chanced language from Preference -> Language and Region. Having to clear cache every time I switch language isn't an ideal fix. The behaviour is very inconsistent.

I know. ServiceNow promised to fix this on Tokyo, but on Washington it still exists. You can create a NowSupport case for it, to see what the status is and complain about it (maybe it will get some more attention).

For some clients we have applied the very bad practice of just running a clear cache several times a day, because of this issue.
