Your AI Has Been Busy. Now Assist Center Monitoring Can Prove It.
Overview
In this Academy, we walk through the solution for this scenario: you know your AI is working. But when your manager asks, "Is this actually doing anything?" you're suddenly staring at multiple dashboards, trying to piece together an answer that should take two minutes to give.
Skills live in the Now Assist Admin Console. Agents have their own analytics inside AI Agent Studio. Assistants report through Assistant Designer Analytics. And when someone asks how your AI footprint is performing overall, you're the person holding three different pages of the same report, trying to stitch them together in real time.
It's not that the data isn't there. It's that nobody's looking at the same page at the same time, and that friction adds up fast.
The monitoring section in Now Assist Center is the fix. It pulls skill analytics, agent analytics, and assistant analytics into a single centralized view. When everything is in one place, you stop losing time reorienting yourself every time you switch asset types, and you stop finding out about problems because someone else noticed them first.
Getting Set Up
Once you've installed Now Assist Center, NAC (soon to be AI Admin Center, AIAC), App ID: sn_na_center from Application Manager.
Navigate to Workspaces > Now Assist Center > Monitoring.
You'll need the sn_na_center.nac_admin role for full access.
What's Inside the Monitoring Section
Here's a rundown of each tab and what it's actually useful for.
Overview
This one is worth making part of your morning routine. Open it, and in two minutes you can see what's activated, what's being adopted, and how much usage is happening across everything you've built and turned on. Instead of reacting to a complaint or a forwarded message from your manager, you just know. That shift in posture is the real value.
Performance Explorer
This is the one to reach for when someone sends a message that just says "agents seem off today." Normally you'd dig through logs, guess at timeframes, and reconstruct what happened. Performance Explorer exists specifically for that moment (Assistants and AI Agents). You can trace an individual conversation, see exactly where it succeeded or where it stalled, and filter by time frame, asset, and outcome type. Instead of "it seems off," you can say "the resolution rate dropped from 85% to 60% starting Tuesday afternoon, and here's the cluster."
Skills
If you've used the Now Assist Admin Console before, this will look familiar. Same reports, now pulled into the central view. What's easy to underestimate here is adoption by department. You probably built a skill and deployed it, and now it's quietly helping people in departments you don't even interact with day-to-day. The Skills tab is where you actually see that.
AI Agents
Pulled in from AI Agent Studio analytics. This is where you verify your agents are doing real work, not just running. There's a difference between "active" and "actually resolving things," and this tab makes that visible. You also get assist consumption data here, so you can see which agents are being leaned on most.
Assistants
This one comes from Assistant Designer Analytics. Conversational assistants are the hardest thing to debug because you're not just looking for a ticket resolution — you have to understand the conversation. The self-solved rate is one of the more useful numbers in here, and the sentiment data gives you a read on not just whether it worked, but whether it felt right to the person using it.
Business Value
This is the one you show to whoever controls your AI budget. Everything else in monitoring tells you the operational story: is it healthy, is it being used. Business Value tells you whether it was worth it.
You define an average time saved per execution and an hourly rate for the people whose work the AI is handling. The platform multiplies that out and gives you time saved and cost saved, broken down by skill, agent, and agentic workflow, with trend lines.
The platform asks you to configure this yourself because there's no global standard that makes sense across every industry, department, or country. Start with your most-used assets and add configurations one at a time rather than trying to set everything up at once.
Getting Value Fast
You don't need to set up everything to start getting something useful out of this. Here's the sequence that makes the most sense:
- Install sn_na_center from Application Manager and navigate to Workspaces > Now Assist Center > Monitoring.
- Open the Overview tab and spend two minutes with it. Just get your bearings on what's activated and what's running.
- Pick one skill or agent your team is already using and add a Business Value configuration for it. One entry is enough to start the conversation with stakeholders.
- Add the Overview tab to your regular weekly routine. It takes less than five minutes and keeps you ahead of questions before they come in.
- Next time someone says something "seems off," open Performance Explorer before you open logs.
- Share the Business Value dashboard with whoever owns your AI budget. Let the numbers do the talking.
