You can now request the reset of a non-production instance without ever submitting an incident. A reset, also known as a zBoot, of non-production instances can be requested by users with the Customer Administrator or Partner Administrator role on the Self-Service module on HI. The zBoot will reset your instance to its out-of-the-box settings, allowing you to start over fresh.

 

How to request a zBoot for a non-production instance:

  1. Log in to HI
  2. Navigate to Service Catalog > Instance Management > zBoot an Instance
  3. Specify the instance to zBoot
  4. Specify the date and time to conduct the zBoot
  5. Clear the Include demo data option if you want to prevent demo data from being loaded to the instance upon zBoot
  6. Submit
