You can now request the reset of a non-production instance without ever submitting an incident. A reset, also known as a zBoot, of non-production instances can be requested by users with the Customer Administrator or Partner Administrator role on the Self-Service module on HI. The zBoot will reset your instance to its out-of-the-box settings, allowing you to start over fresh.
How to request a zBoot for a non-production instance:
- Log in to HI
- Navigate to Service Catalog > Instance Management > zBoot an Instance
- Specify the instance to zBoot
- Specify the date and time to conduct the zBoot
- Clear the Include demo data option if you want to prevent demo data from being loaded to the instance upon zBoot
- Submit
