Add filtered list to Favorites in San Diego Polaris UI

Prior to upgrading to San Diego, I could add a filtered list to my Favorites by dragging the right-most condition of the filter into the left-nav bar. After adding it my favorites, I could click the pencil icon at the bottom of the left-nav and change the name and/or the icon.

After upgrading to San Diego (Polaris UI), this no longer works. If I drag a filter into the left-nav bar, nothing happens. Regardless of whether "All" or "Favorites" is pinned, it does not work.

Is this a bug? Is there a different way in Polaris to add a filtered list to your Favorites?

Hello Giles Lewis

you can add filtered list by clicking on the hamburger menu and then "Create favorite":

Unfortunately the drag-and-drop does not work any more.

Following this does not seem to add my current filtered search to the Favorites menu but instead somehow reverts to the one I already have in the list. Can anyone help?

Refer to below SN article:

Description

Next Experience - New Unified Navigation UI. Drag and Drop breadcrumb filters to favourites not working as UI16

Steps to Reproduce

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Log in as admin user
  2. Go to Favorites and pin the feature to left hand side of browser by using "pin" function
  3. Go to list view of "All cases". Try to Drag and drop one of the case record to "Favorites" section.

Expected - It allows to add it to Favourites like UI16

Actual - Unified Navigation UI does not do same.

Workaround

This is expected behavior and by design in all currently supported releases.
