Hello,
Is it possible to create assignment rules for a request or requested item based on what the item is? I only see ways to create assignment rules for tasks.

Hi,
When you create a request, you have to fill out category / subcategory and CI.
So depending on what you have chosen, you can specify the assignment_group.
it would be something like that :
Any items >> category = desktop, subcategory >> monitor, then Assignment_group is procurement
For that, you have to set up 'assignment lookup rules' (navigation menu).
