Hi,
I asked this question long time ago our Partner and SNC on hi. Do you recommend enable audit on sys_user table?
I got answer it might infuence on performance.
What is your experience? Maybe it's not a problem in last versions: Helsinki, Istanbul.

A lot of customers turn this on because they want to add the activity formatter to track updates to important fields etc.
However, if you have a feed which is constantly updating fields, or you are fed up of last login time populating every time someone logs in, then add the no_audit=true attribute to just those fields.
That way you audit fields you care about, but not ones you don't care to or are automated updates etc.
i.e. I want to know who changed my name and when they did it, but not when I last logged in or some other non important action.
plus those fields clog up your history and make it hard to see the important items.

Hi,
We didn't face any performance issue in our instance.I think it's better to have the Audit on for the User table as it will be really helpful to track the Updates made on the user Record say for Example if a User has been Removed from a Particular Group then if Audit is turned on we can track from which Group the User was removed and Who removed it.
Hope this helps.Mark the answer as correct/helpful based on impact.
