Can I increase character limit on HREF/URL field in a Service Portal Widget?

When I try to paste an external URL that is over 256 characters it gets cut off.  Is there a way to increase the number of characters in this field?

Can you share which widget you are referring it to ?

on LHN go to 

sp_instance.list (https://XXXXXXX.service-now.com/sp_instance_list.do)

Than configure > Table

Change max value of HREF field
