Change Knowledge Categories

Hey there!

I'm wondering, and I'm probably missing something easy, is how do you change the categories that are listed on the main Knowledge View page? I know how to move them around (drag, simple), but can't remember where to add new ones/remove them.

The "Desktop" topic may not have any articles written yet. There is a property set by default that says we will not publish the topic on the knowledge page if there is no content for the topic. (see attachment: omit.png)

If this is your case, all you need to do is 1) find out of there are any knowledge articles with that topic. 2) if there are none, create some.

I know that a default, out of the box, instance does not have any knowledge articles with the Topic of Desktop set.


Okay, thank you that was it. I remember I had put some items in Desktop, but it wasn't showing up, so I took them back out.

Same thing happened just now; I put some items in, and it still wasn't displaying. I just didn't wait long enough.

It's working fine now. Sorry for the ignorance! Thanks again for all the help.
