I am testing the Homepage Deprecation Tool, and when I trigger a request to retire or convert a homepage.
- Can either set it to retire, which triggers approval from the owner... and if the person rejects (it will then convert to a Dashboard),
- or If I (as Admin), convert the Homepage to a new Dashboard, the new Dashboard does not show in that persons "Owned by Me", but it does show under "All" Dashboards, but there is no Owner listed.
Is there a way to modify the "conversion workflow" so it sets the Dashboard Owner to the current owner of the converted Homepage?

I may be guessing wrong here but it looks like your reading the homepage owner settings- if you go to dashboard version and see properties, does it show you an owner. Also it looks like there is a reference to some sort of record with no first and last name data so it could be an ex employee.
I think if the homepage had an active owner it would show on the dash side.... also many of these "my" versions of homepages were created accidentally by users tinkering around as the slightest change creates one hence the number 2 on the title.
Find another converted homepage with an active users name and see if it worked. You can also add to the form created by and get who created the record which most likely is the real owner-

I agree that most of the "My" versions are probably not needed to convert, but in my testing, I wanted to be sure that if the owner wanted it converted, that the new Dashboard would retain the owner, but that is not happening. After conversion, the Dashboard was created, but the Owner was not set, so it does not show under the persons "Owned by me" (See screen shot of newly converted).
I can manually go back in and set the owner, but I was expecting it to pass the owner to the Dashboard.

Came here to say I am having a similar problem. I followed the instructions here on bulk converting homepages to dashboards: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/sandiego-platform-user-interface/page/use/dashboards/task/convert...
And what happened was every homepage I converted lost its original 'owner' and SN changed them all to me, so no one can see their converted homepages under dashboards. I can't imagine that's on purpose?
