Hi,
We have a German client, who has a fairly old on-premise instance with a large number of custom tables.
They are in the process of migrating everything on this server to a cloud instance (San Diago)
They have hit a problem when migrating the custom tables and fields in that, on their on-premise instance, many fields have names that include the German characters (äöüß) or double underscores.
When these are migrated to the San Diago cloud instance, their migration is prevented by the business rule 'Validate Table name and Element name'
When this business rule is disabled, the field gets created, but appears to be corrupted in that it has an 'empty' label and cannot be populated with data.
Can anyone advise if there is any way to allow these characters in the field names?
