Custom records deleted

Help...

I have a table that was populated on Tuesday (june 30th) and today July 4th all the records are gone.

This has broken multiple reports and forms.

I've looked at the Recovery option under All and nothing appears to be there. I looked at Deleted records, and nothing is appearing there.

How can I check what deleted the records on a custom table ?

Im lost on figuring this out and making sure it doesn't happen again

if that table is audited for delete then only you will see the records deleted in left nav module of "Deleted records"

Any script deleted those? any user deleted those?

Hi @BrianS344076034

Is it happening in Prod or non-prod.

It seems Audit is not enabled for your custom table, in that case it is very tough to troubleshoot further.

In non-prod, immediately enable Audit and monitor the case.

  • Navigate to All > System Definition > Dictionary.
  • Locate the row for your custom table, ensuring the "Type" is set to Collection.
  • Select the dictionary entry record to open its settings.
  • Check the Audit check box.
  • Click Update to save your changes
